Hi, my name is Fatima Gould, author of Over the Wall. The story of one woman’s journey from hell to hope. It is my testimony of faith, courage, love and compassion; of what it took emotionally to get over the circumstances life presented me with. The point I try to relate to readers is that attitude matters, and that where there is faith, there is hope, and if one combines them with positive action, helplessness and fear give way to new possibilities, opening doors that were up until then unimaginable.
After writing Over the wall I discovered that I wanted to be someone who lives in a world that’s full of hope, peace and joy. I wanted the people around me to wake up every day and be happy… period. My idea of utopia is a world where there’s no crime, no bigotry, no war. Where Courts are fair and impartial; where people are judged by their actions alone and every living being has access to clean water, shelter and a nourishing and a sustainable source of food. This is what I want the legacy of my company, Green Curtain to be. Our motto is: ‘There is Hope for Anyone, at Any Time, at Any Age’.
It is from this place, or point of view, that gave way to the idea of becoming a motivational speaker. One who encourages others to see that our differences are our strengths, and that having a diversity of ideas gives us a larger pool of solutions to the growing list of potential catastrophes robbing us of our collective peace of mind. However, I found that simply being a speaker was not enough. I wanted to make a profound difference for people with their personal and professional goals. Thus was born The 90-Day Transition and Leadership Coaching Program. My clients and I work together to retrain their brains to engender self-love, self-care and in turn self-confidence. This program is an integrated approach to becoming the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of one’s mind, body, and soul by creating an awareness of what we download into our bodies through the things that we say to ourselves both consciously and subconsciously. Thus, producing the actions and results needed to fulfill our aspirations, and in the process becoming kinder to ourselves and those around us.
